  Nathan E. Eckley August 13, 2012 The Express Nathan E. Eckley, an awesome "Big Brother" and unique father, 73, of 1 35 Kunes St., Blanchard, died Aug. 10, 2012 in the Emergency Room of J ersey Shore Hospital Born Oct. 26, 1938 in Huntingdon, he was a son of the late Eugene L. a d Betty J. Garis Eckley On June 21, 1961 in Mill Hall, he married the former Dorothy L. Klobe , who died Nov. 5, 2009. Nate served in the U. S. Army. He retired in 1985 from the former Hammermill Paper Co. Nate had als o worked for Clasters and had been a manager at the Uni-Mart in Blanch ard. He was a 1957 graduate of the Bald Eagle-Nittany High School. He is survived by two sons, Eugene L. Eckley of Lamar and Glenn P. (Pe g) Eckley of McElhatten; a daughter, Georgia L. Eckley (Tom McNutt Jr. ) of Williamsport,; two brothers, Larry (Claire) Eckley of Beech Cree k and John Eckley of Lucinda; a sister, Patricia (Gary) Robinson of Mi ll Hall; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Dean K. Wetzler Jr. F uneral Home, Mill Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amer ican Heart Association through the funeral home.
