Meixel, 79, formerly of 282 Fourth Gap Rd., Loganton, died T uesday, Sept. 20, 2005 in the Manor Care Health Center in Jersey Shore . Evelyn was born Oct. 10, 1925 in Rauchtown. The daughter of Alice E. S howers Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur M. Mei xel on Jan. 12, 2005. They were united in marriage on Sept. 20,1946. Earlier in her life she was employed by Sylvania and later was a homem aker and farmed with her husband. Surviving are three brothers, Dean A. Miller Sr. of Rauchtown, Kennet h J. Miller of Loganton and Dale W. Miller of Collumsville; two sister s, Mary L. Herlocher of Loganton and Doris M. Baney of Antes Fort; on e step-sister Betty Myers of Mill Hall. Also, several nieces and nephe ws. Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 26, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Wayn e P. Urbine Funeral Home, Main and Water Streets in Loganton. Friend s may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday evening in the funeral home. Burial wi ll be in the Fairview Cemetery in Loganton. Rev. Kenneth E. Geisewit e will officiate.
