, of Centre Hall, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 16, 2017, a
t Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born on December 11, 1940, i
Centre Hall, he was the son of the late James "Bill" and Clair Grov
e Wilson. He was previously married to Virginia Barner and Mary Kather
in Richards. For the past eight years, he has been living with Cynthi
a Barker. Ronald is a 1960 graduate of Penns Valley High School. He wa
s of the Lutheran faith. He was a farmer all his life. He worked at Ha
over Foods, Corning, Meyer Dairy, Centre Daily Times, Grange Fair, an
d for the past 14 years, has worked for Ronald Gilligan Auctions. Rona
ld was a 4-H leader and a Centre County Leader. He enjoyed collectin
g antiques, working in his flower gardens, hunting and fishing. He lov
ed being outdoors. Ronald is survived by his companion, Cynthia, daugh
ter, Tina Boyd and her husband, Joey, of Florida, two sons; Ronald L
. Wilson and his wife, Rosetta, of Kansas and Terry L. Wilson of Centr
e Hall, four stepsons; Rickie L. Richards and his wife, Kerry, of Por
t Matilda, William Richards, of Florida, Robert Filder of Florida, an
d Lynn Barker of Louisiana. Also surviving Ronald is his brother, Jame
s H. Wilson and his wife, Annette, of Centre Hall, 15 grandchildren an
d 22 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 19, 2
017, from 6-8pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Centre Hall. Funer
al services will be on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 11am at the funera
l home with Rev. Russell Sauerwein officiating. Burial will follow a
t the Emmanuel Reformed & Lutheran Cemetery in Tusseyville. In lieu o
f flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Daughenbaugh Fune
al Home, Inc., PO Box 579, Centre Hall, PA 16828. Arrangements have b
