, of Centre Hall, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at The The Fairways a
t Brookline Village, State College, Centre Co, PA Village. Born Marc
h 2, 1921, in Centre Hall, he was a son of the late James L. Decker an
d Verna Durst. On Nov. 5, 1941, he married Evelyn H. Dutrow, who prece
ded him in death on March 14, 1997. He started farming in State Colleg
e, and then in Centre Hall. He was a member of the Centre Hall Grang
e and the Antique Machinery Association. He especially enjoyed huntin
g and attending his grandchildren's' sporting events. He attended th
e First Baptist Church in Bellefonte. He is survived by four daughters
, JoAnn L. and her husband, Walt Mazurkiewicz, of Ephrata, Carol J. an
d her husband, Gary Myers, of State College, Virginia and her husband
, Jim Waite, of Bellefonte, and Judy and her husband, Phil Meyer, of R
ebersburg; a son, William A. and his wife, Donna Decker, of Centre Hal
l; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was the last o
f his family of nine children. A viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m
. Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Crematio
Services P.C., 226 S. PA Ave., Centre Hall and from 9 to 10 a.m., We
dnesday, March 19, 2008, at First Baptist Church, 539 Jacksonville Roa
d, Bellefonte. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 19
, 2008, at the church, with the Rev. Rick Wilson officiating. Burial w
ill be in Centre County Memorial Park, College Twp. Memorial contribut
