  Betty M. Haagen POSTED: April 28, 2009 Lock Haven Express Betty M. Haagen, 83, of Lancaster, formerly of McElhattan, died Monday , April 27, 2009, at Hamilton Arms Center in Lancaster. She was born in Altoona and was the daughter of Alberta S. (Doyle) Mow ery of Altoona and the late Walter S. Mowery. She was married to George M. Haagen who died in 2002. Betty had been employed for many years as a seamstress for Bobbi Brook s Co. and Woolrich Woolen Mills in McElhattan. Surviving besides her mother are a daughter, Sherry L. (Thomas) Hosme Sr. of Lancaster; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Mowery. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2009, a t Linwood Cemetery in McElhattan. There will be no viewing. Young Funeral Home in Lancaster is handling arrangements.
