    Rosie E. Barner, 75, of 1409 Cemetery St., Jersey Shore, died Thursday
    , Nov. 21, 2002, in the Williamsport Hospital Medical Center.
    She was born at Larrys Creek on Sept. 30, 1927, a daughter of Erastu
    s E. and Clara G. Moore Halstead.
    She was married to Ralph H. Barner, who died Dec. 9, 2001.
    Early in her life, she was employed by the Jersey Shore Shirt Factor
    y and Kelco Co.
    She was a member of the Antes Fort United Methodist Church and enjoye
    d cooking, baking, pu?les and embroidery. She especially loved her fam
    ily.
    Survivors include a daughter, Nancy L. Ingraham and her husband, Joh
    T., of Jersey Shore; two sons, Steven J. Barner and his wife, Mary A
    , of Jersey Shore, and Gary W. Barner and his wife, Barbara E., of M
    ill Hall; three sisters, Betty Swafford of Jersey Shore, Verna Mae Lud
    wig of Antes Fort, and Reba L. Scott of San Antonio, Texas; two brothe
    s, Howard C. Halstead of Williamsport, and Edward C. Halstead of Miss
    ion, Texas; six grandchildren, Chad, Jennifer, Reggie, Amanda, Kevin a
    d Patrick; and one great-granddaughter, Sabrina.
    She was predeceased by four brothers.
    Private funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 25, from the Rearic
    k-Carpenter Funeral Home, “A Life Celebration Home,” of Jersey Shore
    . Rev. Richard D. Waters will officiate. Interment will be at her fami
    ly’s convenience in Jersey Shore Cemetery. There will be no visitation
    . Her family suggests contributions be made to the American Diabetes A
    ssociation, 2040 Linglestown Road, Suite 106, Harrisburg, Pa. 17110.
