Jeanne E. Barner
Mrs. Jeanne E. Barner, 85, of Williamsport, died early Tuesday morning
, Feb. 25, 2003, in the Williamsport Hospital. Born May 23, 1917, in O
val, she was the daughter of Clyde Laubach and the former Pearl Shadle
. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin D. Lehman, Ju
ly 29, 1967, and a daughter, Shirley Gheen.
For many years she was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church of Ra
uchtown.
She was a loving mother and housewife.
She is survived by her second husband, John R. Barner. They were unite
d in marriage April 12, 1976.
Also surviving are three daughters, Marlene H. Reiber of Jersey Shore
, Janet M. Stroud of Williamsport and Mary L. Huling of Jersey Shore
; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandch
ildren; one sister, Helen Fenstermaker of Jersey Shore; and one brothe
, Elwood Laubach of Jersey Shore.
Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. at the Frederick B
. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Friends may cal
l from 1 p.m. Friday until the time of services. Burial will be in th
e Oval Cemetery. The Rev. Michael A. Guiswhite will officiate.

Society, 35 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven, Clinton Co, PA 17745.
