    ome Lee W. Reamer, affectionately known as Pap by friends and family f
    ar and wide, passed away at his home in Aaronsburg on June 2, 2018, wi
    th his family by his side. Lee, 91, was born on September 21, 1926, i
    Lewisburg. Lee was the son of John and Katie (Wolfe) Reamer, both de
    ceased. On June 5, 1949, Lee married the love of his life, Roselyn M
    . Reamer, whom passed away on April 24, 2002. Lee and Roselyn lived i
    Aaronsburg. Lee was a hard-working, self-taught carpenter all his li
    fe. Lee worked for a local construction company for many years and eve
    tually formed his own business, building houses and remodeling many h
    omes throughout the area. In his later years, Lee worked as head of ma
    intenance for the Penns Valley Area School District. He loved workin
    g in his shop and spent many hours creating wooden treasures, but he i
    s best known for his jewelry boxes. Pap was a friendly, social man bes
    t known for his stories. He was a member of the Rugged Mountain Huntin
    g Club, where he hunted with his son and grandson. He attended the St
    . James United Methodist Church in Coburn, where he served as truste
    e and a faithful volunteer in the soup kitchen. Lee was an active ma
    and enjoyed camping and playing Friday night bingo at the Hidden Val
    ley Campground. Grange Fair was an annual tradition where Lee worked p
    arking campers, including his own, and visiting with friends and famil
    y. He loved sports and was a faithful supporter of Penns Valley events
    . He enjoyed watching his great-grandchildren participate in sportin
    g events and his granddaughter cheer at Lycoming College. At the rip
    e old age of 90, he was still flying to Canada to visit his daughter
    , grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-granddaughters
    . When he wasn't on the road, he enjoyed watching the Price is Right a
    d attended a road show with his granddaughter. Lee is survived by hi
    s daughters Carol Cole of Cupar, Canada, and Lori Reamer-Shervinskie (
    Tom), of Mill Hall and a son Rick (Nancy), of Aaronsburg. His grandchi
    ldren include Stacy (Rob Brenner) Cole, Jody (Dale) Mostat, Greg (Sony
    a) Cole, Rich (Catrina) Reamer, Jennifer (Jarrod) Asbury, Lydia (Brian
    ) Cowher, Meesha (Logan) Johnson, Adalea Brindel, and McClain Reamer-S
    hervinskie. His great-grandchildren include Samantha and Aaron Brenner
    ; Caleb (Kristina) and Colby Fay; Chase Mostat; Amanda (Jeff Lowenberg
    er), Andrew (Anna), and Adam (Samantha) Cole; Corinne and Caden Reamer
    ; Zachery Asbury; Amber, Noah, and Summer Cowher and his great-great-g
    anddaughters Ayla Fay and Jordan Lowenberger. He is also survived b
    y a brother Arthur Reamer; brother-in-law George Richard; and sister-i
    -law Genevieve Krape. Lee was preceded in death by his siblings Ann
    a Schreck; Charlotte Styers; Dorothy Richard; and Elwood, John Nelson
    , Francis and Luther. Friends and family will be received at the Steve
    R. Neff Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. in Millheim on Friday, June 8
    , 2018, from 9-11 a.m. The funeral service will follow the viewing wit
    h great-nephew, Pastor Corey Mitchell, officiating. Burial will be a
    t the Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Aaronsburg. Memorial contributions ca

    Roselyn H. Reamer, 72, of Aaronsburg, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002
    , at Centre Community Hospital.

    Born Feb. 25, 1930, in Woodward, she was a daughter of the late Georg
    e and Nora Smith Hackenburg.

    On June 5, 1949, she married Lee W. Reamer, who survives at home.

    She was a graduate of East Penns Valley High School in Millheim.

    For 40 years she worked at Gettig Engineering and Pharmaceutical in Sp
    ing Mills, retiring in 1995.

    She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Coburn, wher
    e she was a member of the board of trustees.

    She belonged to the East Penns Valley Woman's Club.

    She enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening and camping. She especially e
    joyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Carol A
    . Cole of Cupar Saskatchewan, Canada, and Lori K. Brindel of Aaronsbur
    g; a son, Richard L. "Rick" of Aaronsburg; a sister, Genevieve Krape o
    f Aaronsburg; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother.

    Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Steven R. Neff Funer
    al Home, 120 W. Main St. in Millheim.

    The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the R
    ev. Lester Conklin, retired pastor of Faith Alliance and who lives a
    t Hidden Valley Campground, officiating.

    Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Aaronsburg.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the St. James United Methodist C
    hurch, P.O. Box 90, Coburn, Penn Twp, Centre Co, PA 16832.
