    Donald L. “Don” Miller, 83, husband of Patricia A. (Monk) Miller, of 5
    25 W. Winter Rd., Loganton, passed away on Monday Oct. 2, 2018 at Geis
    inger Medical Center, Danville.

    Born on June 3, 1935 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Gaylor
    d and Anna (Lomax) Miller.

    Donald was a 1953 graduate of the former Sugar Valley High School, Log
    anton.

    Patricia and Donald were wed on Feb. 24, 1956 and shared over 62 year
    s of marriage together.

    He was employed by the former Hammermill Paper Co., of Lock Haven, fo
    over 38 years, retiring in 1997.

    Donald served his country as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps and w
    as of the Methodist Faith.

    He enjoyed traveling, wood crafts, hunting, fishing and playing cards
    . When able, he could be seen sitting on his front porch waving to fri
    ends and neighbors as they passed by. However, his greatest enjoymen
    t came from spending time with his family.

    Along with his wife, he is survived by a son Barry Miller (Leslye) o
    f Loganton; two daughters, Vicky Ferree (Gary) of Avis, and Judy Lyon
    s (Thomas) of Upper Darby, Pa.; a brother, Lester Miller of Loganton
    ; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

    A funeral will be held on Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Wayn
    e P. Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., 95 E. Main St., Loganton with Rev. Eli
    zabeth Taylor officiating.

    The viewing will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 f
    om 6 to 9 p.m. and also on Monday one hour prior to the funeral. Fina
    l interment will be held in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery
    , Greenburr, Pa. where full military honors will be accorded by the Ko
    ean War Veterans of Lycoming County.

    The family will provide the flowers, if desired memorials may be mad
    e in Don’s name to the Sugar Valley Historical Society, P.O. Box 62 Lo
    ganton, Pa. 17747.
