Richard C. Peters, 76, of Beech Creek died Jan. 16, 2007.
He was born in Beech Creek on May 6, 1930 to the late Charles H. and E
unice R. Peters.
On June 16, 1955, he married Faye E. Dorman of Mill Hall.
Mr. Peters is survived by his wife, Faye E. Peters; a son, Jeffery S
. Peters and his fiancee Jennifer Kerstetter of Beech Creek; a daughte
, Lisa S. Peters and son-in-law John R. Williams; one grandson, Jac
k H. Williams of Bellefonte; four sisters, Barbara Heaton, Eleanor Pac
ker and Janet Eberhart, all of Beech Creek, and Maxine Thomas of Lansd
ale.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Karen Peters; a sister
, Joann Peters; and two brothers, Leroy and Clair Peters.
His gruff voice and exterior could not hide his heart of gold.
His unmatched work ethic means that one of his regrets in death was th
at he can no longer go to work.
He worked for Bald Eagle Transfer for 36 years and drove truck indepen
dently for 16 years.
He was most recently employed by L.W. Peters Disposal.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 at the W
. Robert Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 a
t 10 a.m., with Rev. Russel J. Moldovan officiating.
Burial will be at Christian Cemetery in Blanchard with military rites.

Faye E. Peters, 79 of Mill Hall, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 20
13 in Bellefonte. She was born February 11, 1934 the daughter of the W
illiam Clair and the late Francis Dorman.
Faye was married to the late Richard C. Peters for 52 years.
Faye and Richard had three children and a daughter-in-law; a daughter
. She is also survived by her grandson.
She was preceded in death by her brother Clair Leroy Dorman.
Family meant everything to Faye. She was an active member of The Churc
h of Christ in Blanchard and was known for her good sense of humor an
d kindness towards others.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and othe
healthcare professionals of the Station Court wing of Centre Crest N
ursing Home for the love and compassion they have consistently display
ed.

s were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Blanchar
d Church of Christ with the Rev. Dr. Russel Moldovan officiating.
Burial was at the Christian Cemetery in Blanchard.
