    stown, died Wednesday, February 12, 2003, at The Laurel Center, Hambu
    g, PA.
    Ted was born January 25, 1932 in Millerstown, to the late James H. an
    d Kathryn "Beaver" Troutman.

    He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1950 and PA State Universit
    y, University Park in 1954.

    Ted spend a long teaching career at Big Spring High School in Newville
    , PA, teaching vocational agriculture, General Science and Driver Educ
    ation. His greatest pleasure came from operating the family farm in Pf
    outz Valley.

    He was a member of Pfoutz Valley United Methodist Church, Millerstown
    ; Perry County Farmers Association; Life member of Penn State Alumni A
    ssociation; Tennis Lodge #371, F&AM, Thompsontown; Juniata Valley Fore
    st #88; Tall Cedars; Newport Royal Arch Chapter #238 and the Harrisbur
    g Consistory.

    Surviving are his wife, Lorraine SheafferTroutman; sons, Michael Trout
    man of Mechanicsburg, Jeffrey Troutman of Linglestown; daughters, Debr
    a Harding of Camp Hill, Barbara Schuler of Kensington, MD; sister, Kat
    hryn Gebhardt of Stuart, FL and 8 grandchildren.

    Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family
    , with burial in St. Michaels Cemetery, Millerstown. Viewing will be F
    iday, from 6-8 p.m., from the Myers Funeral Home, Newport.
