A. Grace Fogle
LEWISBURG - A. Grace Fogle, 89, of Lewisburg RR1 died Monday morning a
t Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born in Juniata Co, Feb. 8, 1911, the daughter of the late Elm
er and Blanche (Basom) Barner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Fogle, in 1990. Sh
e was a former employee of the Shellenberger Shirt Co, Richfield, an
d she and her late husband owned and operated a farm in East Buffalo T
wp.
She attended the Mountain Chapel, New Berlin, and had been a pianist t
here. She volunteered at the Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisbur
g.
She is survived by two sons; Donald C. Fogle and wife, Sharon, of Lewi
sburg and Harold E. Fogle and his wife Sharon, of Lewisburg RR1.
Also surviving are three grandchildren: Kent Fogle and his wife, Criss
y of Lewisburg, Kimberly Wagner and husband Kevin of Lewisburg, and To
dd Fogle of Lewisburg; four great-grandchildren, Derek, Jared, Austi
and Delaney; two brothers and one sister: Charles Barner of Lewistow
, Palmer Barner of Enola, and Mary Weider of Neffsville.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Malvern, Victor, Robert an
d Herman; and two sisters, Bertha Book and Almeda Aumiller.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Richfiel
d Mennonite Church with Pastor Jerry O'Connell, the Rev. Myron Lindo
w and the Rev. Charles Barner officiating. Burial will be in the Richf
ield Union Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Con
tributions may be made to the Wiley Mission 99 E. Main St., Marlton, N
.J. 08053.
Funeral arrangements are by George P. Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleas
ant Mills.
