Died after lingering a year following a tree falling on his back. Daniel Barner was born on Sunday, 28 April 1844 at Carroll, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Henry Barner and Catharine Kern. Daniel married, at the age of 24 Catharine Engle, age 22 on Sunday, 6 September 1868. He died on Saturday, 7 April 1928 at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 10 days at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Eastville, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvaia.

MRS. DANIEL BARNER
Mrs. Katherine BARNER, widow of Daniel BARNER, Loganton, R.F.D., died Monday evening at the home of N.E. PICKS, where she had resided for some time. Death was due to complications.
She was aged 87 years and was a life-long resident of Sugar Valley. She was a member of the United Brethren Church at Eastville. She is survived by one son, M. L. BARNER, a grand-son and grand-daughter, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Morris Funeral Home, Loganton, and were continued at the United Brethren Church at Eastville, Rev. C.A. SCHWENK officiating. Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
