Robert W. Greninger, 84, of 212 Walton Road, Lock Haven, died Nov. 14
, 2004 at home.
Born March 19, 1920 in Elvira, Pa., he was the son of the late Ira R
. and Emma L. Baker Greninger.
He was married to Betty L. Welshans Greninger who died Nov. 20, 1997.
He was a construction worker and was part owner in Mor-Car Motors. H
e also had worked for Capitol Homes.
He was a 1939 graduate of Sugar Valley High School and was a World Wa
II veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of the Covenant United Methodist Church and a former m
ember of Loganton Borough Council.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol A. Decker of Flemington and Diane L
. Roeting of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchild
en.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004 in the Donal
d G. Walker Funeral Home Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Rev. Kathlee
Kind will officiate. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the f
uneral home. Interment will be in Schenck Cemetery. Memorial contribut
ions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Susquehanna Hospice o
Covenant United Methodist Church.
