Julianna Haagen, 75, of 12 East Church St., Lock Haven, died Thursday
, Dec. 29, 2005 at the Lock Haven Hospital.
She was born June 29, 1930 in Rote, the daughter of the late George an
d Mabel Fisher Barner. On April 15, 1949 she married James J. Haagen w
ho died May 17, 1995.
She was a 1948 graduate of Lock Haven High School. Earlier in her lif
e she had been employed as a nurse. She also had worked for Sylvania i
Mill Hall and for several blouse factories in Pen Argyl.
She was a member of the Mill Hall Church of Christ. She was also a mem
ber of the Senior Center in Mill Hall and the Sons of Italy, Lock Have
.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann Groner, of Nazareth; a sist
er, Edith Kinley, of Mill Hall; five grandchildren, four great-grandch
ildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death b
y a son, James Michael, six sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005 at noon at the Moriar
ty-Dutcavich Funeral Home, 112 East Church St., Lock Haven, with the R
ev. Mark Riley officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, #02
8, Mill Hall. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturda
y from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
