    Doyle C. Lamey

    Doyle C. Lamey, 74, formerly of Loganton, entered into rest Friday, No
    v. 4, 2005 in the Susque-View Home in Lock Haven.
    Born Jan. 22, 1931 in Loganton, he was the son of Harry E. (Sol) Lame
    y and the former Edna E. Kleckner.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Doris J. Brungard, they were un
    ited in marriage Sept. 4, 1953 in Loganton.
    Doyle was a 949 graduate of the Sugar Valley Highschool, he then enlis
    ted in the United States Army in 1953 and was a member of the First In
    fantry Division Band.
    The band appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1955. Doyle worked for Ti
    tan Metal in Bellefonte for 16 years and later was an agent for Americ
    an General Insurance for 12 years.
    He retired from Valley Sheet Metal in 1992. He owned and operated Lame
    y’s Repair Shop in Loganton from 1964 until 2000.
    He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and was a certified gunsmith.
    For many years Doyle was a member of the Saint Paul Lutheran Church i
    Loganton.
    Surviving are two sons, Denis C. Lamey and wife Deborah of Loganton an
    d Douglas J. Lamey Sr. and wife Betty of Flemington; one daughter, Don
    a J. Walizer and husband Geary of Lock Haven; two grandsons; three gr
    anddaughters; one step-granddaughter; one brother, Harold Lamey of Rau
    chtown; two sisters, Mary Hoffer of Jersey Shore and Jean Lamey of Log
    anton.
    His mother, father and a grandson preceded him in death.
    Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Way
    e P. Urbine Funeral Home, Main and Water Streets in Loganton. Friend
    s may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Funeral home. Burial will b
    e in the Fairview Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth E. Geisewite will officiate.
