    Geraldine Mae Vonada Rogers Bohn December 13, 1917 - June 13, 2011 Ger
    aldine Mae Vonada Rogers Bohn, 93, formerly of State College and Centr
    e Hall, before entering the Oaks in Pleasant Gap, died Monday, June 13
    , 2011 at The Terrace of Brookline. Born Dec. 13, 1917, in Hublersburg
    , she was a daughter of the late Charles Nevin Vonada and Cora Belle F
    isher. On Dec. 22, 1937, in Howard, she married Gerald Lowery Rogers w
    ho preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1961. She is survived by their th
    ee children, Gerald Eugene Rogers (Loretta), of State College, a twi
    son, Ronnie Lee Rogers, of Bellefonte; and a twin daughter, Bonnie L
    ou Rogers Moerschbacher, of State College. On Dec. 15, 1968, in Centr
    e Hall, she married Wallace L. Bohn who preceded her in death on Feb
    . 15, 1992. She was a member of the Logan Grange at Pleasant Gap, an
    d was affiliated with the Ladies Aid, where she assisted with many ban
    quets of the Granges. She was also a member of the Progress Grange i
    Centre Hall. Geraldine had 50 years of Grange membership. Her member
    ships included: a member of the Eastern Star of Centre Hall, a membe
    of the Shiloh Lutheran Church, Benner Pike, State College and was af
    filiated in the Ladies Guild and sang in the church choir, a member o
    f the United Church of Christ of Centre Hall, and a member of the Cent
    e Squares in Houserville. She was a farmer and housewife with many ta
    lents in sewing, quilting and gardening. Besides her three children sh
    e is survived by one sister Fay Zimmerman, of Pleasant Gap; one brothe
    , Dean Vonada, of Zion; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren
    ; and five great great grandchildren. In addition to her husbands an
    d parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, Orpha Zellers, Mi
    iam Berry, Lois Spicer and Velma Bailey; five brothers, Fred, Freeman
    , Kenneth, Harvey and Hubert Vonada. Friends will be received 6-8 p.m.
    , Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Crematio
    Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. A Funeral Service will b
    e held 11 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2011, at the funeral home with the Re
    verend Stephen Koths officiating. Interment will follow in Centre Coun
    ty Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be mad
    e to Shiloh Lutheran Church, 801 Benner Pike, State College, PA 1680
    1 or Coldren Assoc. Employee Benefits, DBA The Terrace, 1950 Cliffsid
