len Barner Weaver. On Dec. 24, 1946, he married Martha L. Walizer wh
o died Aug. 15, 2011.
John retired from Hammermill Paper Co. after 32 years of service and h
ad previously worked at American Aniline, Clasters, R. K. Griffin an
d General Armature. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and wa
s a member of the Rote United Methodist Church.
He is survived by one son, Gary L. (Mary) Weaver of Cedar Hill, Texas
; four sisters, Ruth Yarrison and Jean Slaterbeck both of Rote, June W
elshans of Booneville and Joyce (Lynn) Robinson of Howard; two brother
s, Donald Weaver of Rote and Allen (Joan) Weaver of Howard; four grand
children, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by one sister, Etta K. Decker.
At the request of Mr. Weaver there will be no visitation or services.
Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, #028, Mill Hall.

Martha L. Weaver, 83, of 23 Eisenhower Crossing Rd., Mill Hall died Au
gust 15, 2011 in the Lock Haven Hospital.
She was born September 17, 1927 in Lock Haven, a daughter of the lat
e F. Jay and Agnes Gunsallus Walizer.
On December 24, 1946, in Castanea, she married John C. Weaver who surv
ives at home.
Martha was a homemaker. She had worked earlier in her life at Sylvani
a Electric.
She was a member of the Rote United Methodist Church and loved to rea
d mystery novels, raise African Violets and crochet afghans.
Martha graduated May 28, 1946 from the Loysville High School.
She is survived by a son, Gary L. (Weaver) of Cedar Hill, Texas; one h
alf-sister who resides in New Stanton; four grandchildren Adrienne (Ke
eth) McClure of Dallas Texas, Christian Weaver of Cedar Hill, Texas
, Tracy (Kevin) Graham of Wis., Matthew Weaver of Portland Ore.; and t
wo great grand children Quenton and Madison McClure of Dallas, Texas.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no public visitation.
Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, #028 in Mill Hall.
