Greeley, Colo., died Nov. 17, 2007 in
Greeley at Fairacres Manor, where she had
lived since June. She was born Sept. 19,
1921 in Lock Haven, the daughter of William
and Meda (Glossner) Bingaman. In
1939, she married Dean S. Burkett, also of
Lock Haven. Mrs. Burkett was a homemaker,
active church participant, wife and
mother. She is survived by two daughters,
Debbie Burkett of Greeley, Colo., and
Carol Lovil of Kingsland, Texas; two sons,
Dean "Chip" Jr. and wife Lilly of Bayfield,
Colo., and Peter and wife Karen of Kalispell,
Mont.; eight grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her husband, parents and two
grandchildren. Following cremation, a family

Elizabeth Jane ?Betty? Burkett, 86, of Greeley, Colo., died Nov. 17, 2
007 in Greeley at Fairacres Manor, where she had lived since June.

She was born Sept. 19, 1921 in Lock Haven, the daughter of William an
d Meda (Glossner) Bingaman.

In 1939, she married Dean S. Burkett, also of Lock Haven.

Mrs. Burkett was a homemaker, active church participant, wife and moth
er. She enjoyed the many friends she made as the family moved with Pip
er Aircraft from PA to Oklahoma and then with Conoco Oil to Texas, Kan
sas, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana, before retirement brought the coup
le to Greeley.

Before moving to Fairacres Manor, Mrs. Burkett resided at Garden Squar
e at Westlake.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Burkett of Greeley, Colo., an
d Carol Lovil of Kingsland, Texas; two sons, Dean ?Chip? Jr. and wif
e Lilly of Bayfield, Colo., and Peter and wife Karen of Kalispell, Mon
t.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two grandchildre
.

Following cremation, a family service will be held at a later date.
