Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was the retired co-owner of Hayes-Stahl Lumber Co. of Mount Pleasan

RD 1 and a member of St. James United Methodist Church, Millerstwon R
D 2, and
AARP.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene Hockenbroch Shaffer; one son, Larry E
. of
Liverpool RD 2; his mother, Mildred Stahl Shaffer Rice; three sisters
, Louvonna
Flanders and Lois Mosey, both of Port Trevorton RD 1, and Carol Robins
on of
Marysville; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Garman Funeral Home. Bur
ial will
be in Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery Liverpool RD 1
, Perry Co, PA, Liverpool RD 1.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
