There will be no public viewing. Friends and family are invited to th
e visitation on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 1:00 PM until the time o
f the funeral service at 2:00 PM all from the Liverpool United Methodi
st Church, 209 S. Market St., Liverpool. Burial will be made in the Li
verpool Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be mad
e in loving memory of Minnie to her church. The George P. Garman Funer

sburg.
LIVERPOOL - Minnie Matilda Sheaffer, 90, of Liverpool, entered into re
st on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewi
sburg. She was born July 29, 1923, in Port Trevorton, the daughter o
f the late Harvey and Annie (Strawser) Lindsay. She was married to Mar
lin Ralph Sheaffer Sr., who preceded her on Dec. 15, 1985. Minnie grad
uated from Selinsgrove High School. She was a member of Liverpool Unit
ed Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Minnie enjoyed pu?
le books, reading Amish books and spending time with her family, espec
ially her grandchildren. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-la
w, Marlin Ralph Jr. and Sallie Sheaffer, of Liverpool; one daughter an
d son-in-law, Brenda and Blaine Fessler, of Middleburg; two sons-in-la
w, Raymond Long, of Liverpool, and Larry Arnold, of Mount Pleasant Mil
ls; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-
grandchildren. Minnie was preceded by two daughters, Sandra Long and J
oyce Arnold. There will be no public viewing. Friends and family are i
vited to the visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Liverpool United M
ethodist Church, 209 S. Market St., Liverpool, followed by the funera
l at 2 with Pastor Peggy Jones officiating, assisted by Pastor Andy Bu
cke. Burial will be in Liverpool Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, m
