LIVERPOOL - Charles L. Mitchell, 77, of 104 N. Market St., a retired e
mployee
of Precisionware Inc., Thompsontown, died Tuesday afternoon in the Pol
yclinic
Medical Center, Harrisburg, where he had been a patient since April 25
.
Born Dec. 19, 1905, in Millerstown RD2, he was the son of the late Har
y P.
and Susan Elizabeth Frymoyer Mitchell. In 1937, he was married to th
e former
Helen Mae Barner.
When he was a young man, he farmed in the area and later worked for th
e W. W.
Boone Egg Co, Liverpool RD1. He was employed at Precisionware from 19
55-1967,
when he retired.
Mr. Mitchell was a member of St. John's (Barner's) Lutheran Church, Li
verpool
RD1; Liverpool Fire Company; and the Liverpool Senior Citizens.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carl Lau
ver of
York RD2; one son, Richard L. of Liverpool RD1; and five grandchildren
.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Barner's Luthera
Church
by the Rev. Theodore L. Cockley. Burial will be in the adjoining chur
ch
cemetery.
Friends may call in the church Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to the hour o
f the
service.
Funeral arrangements were made by the George P. Garman Funeral Home,
Liverpool.
