Sally Ann Gilbert Barner Stice
Sally Ann Gilbert Barner Stice, 76, of Buechel, died on Saturday, Marc
h 28, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Barner; and her s
econd husband, Raymon Stice; and her parents, Edgar and Marian Gilbert
.
She is survived by her children, Timothy Barner, David (Gloria) Barner
, Bruce Barner, Gary Barner and Scott Barner; a stepson; two stepdaugh
ters; 10 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and siblings, Nancy Jun
ot, Larry Gilbert, Sue Sherman and Glen Gilbert.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, at Ch
urch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with burial at a later dat
e in Grove Place Cemetery in Rochester N.Y. Schoppenhorst, Underwood a
d Brooks Funeral Home near Shepherdsville was in charge of arrangemen
ts.

Sally Ann Gilbert Barner, Stice, age 76 of Buechel, returned to her He
avenly Father on Saturday, March 28, 2015 with her family by her side
. Sister Stice was born in Warsaw, NY on May 16, 1938 to the late Edga
and Marian Gilbert. Sister Stice was a member of the Church of Jesu
s Christ of Latter Day Saints for about 65 years. She served in the Na
vy Waves for 4 years, had a lifelong passion for genealogy, nursing, a
d sewing, especially quilts.
Among those who preceded her in death include, her first husband, Car
l Barner and her second husband Raymon Stice.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her childern, Timothy Barner, Davi
d Barner(Gloria), Bruce Barner, Gary Barner, and Scott Barner; one ste
pson; three stepdaughters; ten grandchildren; one great grandaughter
; siblings, Nancy Junot, Larry Gilbert, Sue Sherman, Glen Gilbert an
d a host of other family and friends.
Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2
015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (1000 S Hurstbo
urne Pkwy, Louisville
