Mark Lynn Barner
Mark Lynn Barner, 45, died Monday, May 30, 2005, at ManorCare Jersey S
hore, where he had been a resident since Feb. 4, 1999. At the age of 1
6, he had a brain tumor removed.
Born April 21, 1960 in Lock Haven Hospital he was the son of Grant R
. and Doris J. (Shields) Barner of 2030 E. Winter Rd., Loganton.
He was a 1978 graduate of Sugar Valley High School and a member of th
e Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, Eastville, Pa.
In addition to his parents he is survived by five brothers: Walter, Je
y and Gordon Barner, all of Loganton; Dale Barner, Springfield, Tenn
., and James Barner of Jersey Shore; one sister, Barbara Munro of Jers
ey Shore and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by a sister Sarah J. Smith and three brothers, Kenn
eth, Frank and David Barner.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the S
ugar Valley Church of the Brethren, Eastville, Pa., with the Rev. Ke
Geisewite officiating. Interment will be held in the adjoining cemet
ery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. in the Wayne P
. Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., 95 E. Main St., Loganton.
