Frank M. Barner, 48, of Purcellville and formerly of Sugar Valley, die
d Sept. 12 at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Md.
He was employed by Virginia Sprinkler Corp. the past 10 years.
Mr. Barner is survived by his wife, Lydia M. Casey Barner of Purcellvi
lle; daughters, Eve Barner and Priscilla Barner, both of Purcellville
; brothers, Walter G., Jerry R. and Gordon R., all of Loganton, Pa., D
ale W. of Springfield, Tenn., and James F. and Mark L., of Jersey Shor
e, Pa.; and a sister, Barbara L. Munro of Jersey Shore.
The funeral and interment was Saturday in Eastville, Pa. Arrangement
s by Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Loganton.

0 years. He was a graduate of Sugar Valley High School and attended Re
x Humbard College. Born April 28, 1952, in Albany, N.Y., he was a so
of Grant R. and Bertha Lyman Barner. Surviving are his wife, the for
mer Lydia M. Casey; his father and stepmother, Doris Barner of Loganto
; two daughters, Eve and Priscilla, both of Purcellville; six brother
s, Walter G., Gordon R. and Jerry R., all of Loganton, Mark L. and Jam
es F., both of Jersey Shore and Dale of Springfield, Tenn; and a siste
, Barbara L. Munro of Jersey Shore. He was preceded in death by two b
others, David and Kenneth and a sister, Susan Smith. The funeral wil
l be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, Eastvi
lle. Burial will be in Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren Cemetery, E
astville. Friends may call at Welker’s, 95 Main St., Loganton from 7 t
o 9 p.m. Friday.
