- Pauline L. (Hess) Barner, 85, of Lock Haven, Pa, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at The Gatehouse in Williamsport.
Born on Oct. 21, 1935, in Lock Haven, she was the youngest of two daughters of the late Guy and Elizabeth (Dauberman) Hess.
Pauline was married on March 1, 1962, in Newport, RI, to Lewis D. Barner, who preceded her in death on August 10, 1996. They happily celebrated 34 years of marriage together.
She loved the outdoors, exercising and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.
Pauline was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Castanea Fire Hall.
Surviving are a daughter, Kim M. (Douglas) Troy, of Smethport, PA; three grandchildren, Dylan Barler, Clarissa Barler and Lewis D. Barner III; a great granddaughter, Caroline Elizabeth Fausey, and one sister Eleanor R. Zerby of McElhattan.
Pauline was preceded in death by two sons, Terry C. Schleiff and Lewis D. Barner Jr. and a sister, Alberta Self.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd.,
with Certified Celebrant Brigitte C. Morgan officiating.
Friends and relatives will be received one-hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven. PA.
