Jessica Marie Lamey and Timothy G. Welshans, both of Loganton, were un
ited in marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008.
The Rev. Kenneth Guisewite officiated at the ceremony held at Ravensbu
g State Park, Rauchtown, where a rehearsal dinner also was held.
A reception was held at Immaculate Conception Church Social Hall, Bast
ess.
The bride is the daughter of Deb and Denis Lamey, Loganton. She gradua
ted from Bald Eagle-Nittany High School in 1999 and received associate
's degrees in mass and broadcast communication from PA College of Tech
ology. She is employed by the Sun-Gazette as the coordinator of outdo
ors and special sections and CU, and also is a columnist for "Treats
, Eats and Squeaks."
Welshans is the son of Irene and Grant Welshans, Loganton. He graduate
d from South Ridge Christian Academy and is employed by Jersey Shore S
teel Inc., Jersey Shore, as a machinist.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Botsford, Loganton. Bridesmaid was Blake Ka
stetter, Loganton, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Rebecca Peter
s, Loganton. Ring bearer was Evan Welshans, son of the bridegroom. Bes
t man was John Peters, Loganton. Usher was Rick Orgitano, Allenwood.
Following a trip to Letchworth State Park, N.Y., the couple is residin
g in Loganton. A trip to Deadwood, S.D., is being planned for the spri
g.
