Dorothy Leah Cooper

Dorothy Leah Cooper, 67, of 126 Merrill Lane, Lock Haven, died Thursda
y, Nov. 5, 2009 at Manor Care Nursing Home, Jersey Shore.
Born Jan. 11, 1942 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Ken
eth L. and Mary Elizabeth Barner Klobe.
She married John W. Cooper, who died Dec. 14, 2005.
She graduated from the former Lock Haven High School.
Dorothy attended the Woolrich United Methodist Church, and she loved s
pending time in the outdoors, and doing various crafts, including woo
d burning, drawings and paintings.
Most of all she loved time spent with her family. She loved her dogs C
inder, Domino and the late Cuddles.
She is survived by two daughters, George L. Eckley and Dawn Marie Aski
s, both of Williamsport; two sons, Eugene L. Eckley of Lock Haven an
d Glen P. (Peggy Sue) Eckley of McElhattan; two brothers, Gaylon Klob
e of Rauchtown and John Klobe of York; two sisters, Mary Lou Reeder o
f Woolrich and Shirley Marquette of York; seven grandchildren and fou
great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by t
wo brothers, Kenneth and Bill Klobe.
Private services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial wil
l be in Oval Cemetery, Oval. Memorial contributions may be made to th
e American Cancer Society, Community Nursing Service Hospice of Clinto
County or Susquehanna Home Care and Hospice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Donald G. Walker Funer
al Home Inc., Flemington.
