  Williamsport Sun-Gazette Feb 26, 2003 Jeanne E. Barner Mrs. Jeanne E. Barner, 85, of Williamsport, died early Tuesday morning , Feb. 25, 2003, in the Williamsport Hospital. Born May 23, 1917, in O val, she was the daughter of Clyde Laubach and the former Pearl Shadle . She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin D. Lehman, Ju ly 29, 1967, and a daughter, Shirley Gheen. For many years she was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church of Ra uchtown. She was a loving mother and housewife. She is survived by her second husband, John R. Barner. They were unite d in marriage April 12, 1976. Also surviving are three daughters, Marlene H. Reiber of Jersey Shore , Janet M. Stroud of Williamsport and Mary L. Huling of Jersey Shore ; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandch ildren; one sister, Helen Fenstermaker of Jersey Shore; and one brothe , Elwood Laubach of Jersey Shore. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. at the Frederick B . Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Friends may cal l from 1 p.m. Friday until the time of services. Burial will be in th e Oval Cemetery. The Rev. Michael A. Guiswhite will officiate. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the American Cance Society, 35 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven, Clinton Co, PA 17745.
