Tina Louise Struble September 12, 1959 September 5, 2013 On Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, Tina Louise Struble, 53, passed away at Valley View Haven Nursing Home, after a courageous battle against M.S., a disease that she endured for 20 years with a positive attitude. She was born on Sept. 12, 1959, in Bellefonte, to Norman W. and Eleanor L. Emeigh Struble, who survives in Pleasant Gap. Also surviving is her son, Brandon Homan; three brothers, Robert A. Struble and his wife, Cyndi, Stephen W. Struble and his wife, Joy and David S. Struble and his wife, Joanie. She is also survived by her ex-husband, Barry Homan; and six grandchildren, who she enjoyed and loved. Tina was a 1977 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School and a 1978 graduate of South Hills Business School. She worked in the photo center at PennDOT in Pleasant Gap. She loved books and was an avid reader, educating herself in many fields of interest. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and will never be forgotten, for her courage dealing with her devastating disease. Friends will be received on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, from 6-7 p.m. with a memorial service to immediately follow at 7 p.m., with Reverend Calvin Miller officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
