HARRISON E WOLFE
Harrison E. WOLFE, 69 of McElhattan, a retired employee of the New Yor
k Central Railroad, died yesterday at 4:40 p.m. in the Jersey Shore Ho
spital. He had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at his home Sept. 13, an
d had been a hospital patient since Sept. 24.
Mr. WOLFE was born in Bald Eagle Twp., Son of Howard and Viola BARNE
R WOLFE. He had lived in this vicinity all his life, working for the r
ailroad 38 years, and retiring in August 1953, as a carpenter foreman
. He was a member of the Methodist Church at McElhattan.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lucille MULLEN; four sons and fiv
e daughters, Daniel H., Lock Haven; Richard L., South Williamsport, Ha
ison, Jr. and Robert, both of McElhattan; Mrs. Harry THOMPSON, Mrs
. Walter KEELER, Mrs. Lee SCHIVELY and Mrs. Glenn THOMPSON, all of Rau
chtown, and Mrs. Conrad PANKAU, of Elmira, NY.
There are 15 surviving grandchildren, a brother, Ray, of Trout Run, an
d three sisters; Mrs. Margaret SWINEHART, Avis; Mrs. Ferguson STABLE
Y and Mrs. Frank SWINEHART, of McEllhattan.
WOLFE-Services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Yost Funeral Ho
me for Harrison E. WOLFE, 69, of McElhattan, who died Thursday, Oct. 2
4, 1957, at 4:40 p.m. in the Jersey Shore Hospital. The Rev. Daniel RO
BINSON, of South Williamsport, will officiate. Interment, Rest Haven M
emorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday
