OHNMEISS OBITUARY
Mrs. Beverly M. (DeeDee) Fike, 82, of 953 Louisa Street, Williamsport
, died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at The Williamsport Hospital and Medica
l Center. Mrs. Fike was the widow of the late Paul W. Fike, Sr. She w
as preceded in death by her late husband on February 17, 1976. Mrs. Fi
ke had been employed by the former C.A. Reed Paper Company at Williams
port. Mrs. Fike enjoyed playing bingo and playing cards, but her mos
t favorite pastime was being involved with her family. Born Sept. 27
, 1924, at Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Hild
a M. Calvert Ohnmeiss. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Flor
ine and Donald Probst of South Williamsport; her two sons and daughter
s-in-law, Wayne G. and his wife, Karen Fike of Wytheville, Va., and Ca
meron E. and his wife, Pat Fike of Williamsport; her maternal aunt, Mr
s. Marion Wright, who has resided with Mrs. Fike for many years; her f
our stepsons, Jay A. and his wife, Norma Fike of Williamsport, Charle
s and his wife, Linda Fike of Williamsport, David L. and his wife, Fay
e Fike of Riegelsville, New Jersey, and Ronald J. and his wife, Lois F
ike of Montoursville; her two sisters, Marlene (Ohnmeiss) and her husb
and, Bob Person of Cogan Station and Donnalee (Ohnmeiss) Emerick of Je
sey Shore; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and nine great gr
eat grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters-in-law, Rub
y Ohnmeiss and Ruth Ohnmeiss, both of Montoursville. In addition to he
late husband and her late parents, she was also preceded in death b
y her son, Garry L. Fike and by her stepson, Paul W. Fike, Jr. She wa
s also preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Ohnmeiss and by her fiv
e brothers, Cameron, Maynard, Elwood, Ray, Jr., and Dean Ohnmeiss. Fu
eral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at th
e Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 East Central Avenue, South Williamsp
ort. The Rev. Father Michael J. Zipay, pastor at Saint Lawrence Roma
Catholic Church, South Williamsport, will officiate. Interment wil
l follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. Relatives and friend
s are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday morning from 10 a.
m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
