Annabelle L. Ohnmeiss, 92, formerly of 498 Glade Run Road, Muncy, die
d Friday, February 8, 2008, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursi
g Unit, where she resided the past five years.
Born June 25, 1915, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Cl
yde and Helen (Pepperman) Ohnmeiss.
Annabelle was a homemaker who also enjoyed the challenge of a good ji
g saw pu?le, producing a beautiful work of embroidery, and practicin
g her cursive penmanship.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry L. and Judy Ohnm
eiss of Muncy; one brother and sister-in-law, Berdell and Toot Ohnmeis
s of Muncy; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Nina Houseknecht an
d Maxine and Earl Loudenslager, all of Williamsport; Vivian Heller o
f New York and Betty Bastian of Georgia; two granddaughters, Lois Char
les and Regena Koch; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were one grandson, Jerry L. Ohnmeiss, Jr.; fou
brothers, Dan, Max, Charles and Stanley; and two sisters, Helen an
d an infant sister.
The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, at Grenoble’
s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy. Officiating will be Pastor Max L. Walters
, Jr. of Lairdsville Faith Church. Burial will be in Montoursville Cem
etery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home prior to the service on T
uesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
