MILLERSTOWN- Earl Eugene "Cowman" Cauffman, 65 of Millerstown passed a
way on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobi
le accident.
He was the husband of Teresa L. "Terry" (Metz) Cauffman to whom he wa
s married for 34 years.
Earl was born at home in rural Greenwood Township, Perry County. He wa
s the son of the late Robert H. and Ardella M. (Gelnett) Cauffman. H
e was a 1970 graduate of Greenwood High School.
Earl was engaged in farming all of his life.
He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Millerstown, the Newpo
t Owls Club, Hunters Valley Sportsman's Association, Loyal Order of M
oose Lodge No. 925, Millerstown, and the American Legion Post No. 364
, Liverpool.
Earl loved to be in the outdoors and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Earl is survived by his two sons: Brady Cauff
man of Millerstown and Phil Cauffman at home, four granddaughters: Ash
ley Berg wife of Travis, Alyssa Cauffman and her fiance Shane Seibert
, Lauren Dressler and Caitlyn Cauffman; a grandson Cody Cauffman, thre
e great grandsons: Gadge, Miles, and Brodie Berg; two brothers: Glen C
auffman and Dean Cauffman both of Millerstown; three nephews, and a ni
ece.
Earl was preceded in death by a son Travis Cauffman and a niece Robert
a "Bobbie Jo" Rumfelt.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life Service on Sun
day, October 22, 2017 at 3:00 PM from the Newport Family Life Center
