" (Strouse) Stover, 66, wife of Gary Stover, of 41 Old Hill Rd., Logan
-ton, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Cente
, Danville. Bock in Lock Haven on Oct. 22, 1947, she was the daughte
of the late Doyle F. and Eleanor E. (Lucas) Strouse. Gary and Marg
e were wed on Nov. 5, 1966, and shared over 47 years of marriage toget
her. She was a 1965 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School. Marg
e was a very active member of St. John United Church of Christ, Tylers
ville, where she was a former member of council and choir, the communi
ty picnic, and many other committees. Early in life, she was a membe
of the Doyle Strouse Family Band. She was formerly employed for ove
30 years at the First National Bank, Loganton Branch, as the head te
ller for many years, through the acquisition of Omega Bank and Norther
Central Bank. Prior to her employment at the bank, she was employe
d as a secretary for Moore Business Forms of Bellefonte and the forme
Maremont Corporation. Along with her husband, she is survived by a s
on, Wade Stover (Carey), of Bellefonte; a daughter, Michele A. Schal
l (Stanley), of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren, Dalton and Tori Stover
, of Bellefonte; two sisters, Eva Ketner (Jim), of Lancaster, and Audr
ey Oakes (Jack) of Centre Hall; two brothers, Larry Strouse (Melba) o
f Newville, and Jerry Strouse (Dolores), of State College. In additio
to her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Arline Wonchoba. Mar
ge enjoyed gardening, however her greatest love was being a homemaker
, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. The funeral service wi
ll be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the St. John U.C.C.
, 3782 Narrows Rd., Loganton, PA 17747, with Rev. Rodger Snyder offici
ating. A viewing will be held in the church Tuesday, May 6, 2014, fro
m 6 - 8 p.m. and also on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Fina
l interment will be held in the Tylersville Community Cemetery. If des
