Robert A. Karstetter, 88, husband of Arnice N. (Duck) Karsetter of 139
1 W. Winter Rd., formerly of 1969 W. Winter Rd., Loganton, PA, passe
d away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Manor Care, Jersey Shore, PA.
Born in Loganton, PA on November 24, 1927 he was the son of the late E
arl and Mildred (Seiber) Karstetter.
Robert was employed by Piper Aircraft of Lock Haven, PA retiring in 19
90 after 32 years of service as an engine mechanic. He was also a loc
al dairy farmer for many years.
In the past he also assisted with Stalls Auctions and in transportin
g the Amish Community.
Along with his wife he is survived by three son Robert G. Karstetter
, Ronald Karstetter and Robin K. Karstetter all of Loganton, two daugh
ters Marlene Heggenstaller of Loganton and Darlene Watt of Lock Haven
, 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers George a
d Richard Karstetter and a sister June Rossman.
A private graveside service will be held in the St. Paul’s Evangelica
l United Brethren Church Cemetery, Logan Mills, PA at the convenienc
e of the family.
