REBECCA S. KURTZ
Rebecca S. Kurtz, 84, of N. Market Street, Millerstown, died Wednesday
, May 19, 1999 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She had worked for the former Ben Franklin store in Newport; was a mem
ber and Sunday school teacher of Millerstown United Methodist Church
; a graduate of the former Shippensburg State Teachers College; and en
joyed volunteer work.
She was the widow of Samuel M. Kurtz.
Surviving are two sons, Samuel E. and David M., both of Millerstown; t
wo daughters, Cynthia Jennie Kurtz-McDermott of Pasadena, Calif.; an
d Karen E. Burke of Boca Raton, Fla.; and two granddaughters.
Services were held May 23 in her church. Burial was in Riverview Cemet
ery.
Myers Funeral Home, Newport, handled arrangements.
