M. Merle Light
LIVERPOOL - M. Merle Light, 87, formerly of Liverpool RR 1, died Satur
day at
the home of her daughter, Pauline Lane Wright, in Granger, Ind.
She had served as mother to 67 foster children since 1959; was a membe
of
Salem United Methodist Church, Liverpool RR 1, and a charter member an
d past
star recorder of Women of Moose Lodge No. 925.
She was the widow of W. Stanley Light. Surviving in addition to her d
aughter
are a brother, Robert B. Murray of Liverpool; five grandchildren, an
d six great-
grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in her church. Burial will b
e in St.
John's (Barner's) Cemetery, Liverpool RR 1.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Garman Funeral Home, Liv
erpool.
