A. Pauline Barner, 95 years of Millerstown, entered into eternal res
t on Sunday, November 28, 2010, at her residence.
She was the wife of the late Albert L. barner, who preceded her on Jun
e 16, 1986. Pauline was born on March 10, 1915 in Oriental, Juniata Co
, the daughter of the late Calvin E. and Villa Mae (Frymoyer) Goodling
.
She had worked on the family dairy farm. Pauline was a member of the S
t. John (Barner's) Lutheran Church, Liverpool and the Liverpool Volunt
eer Fire Company. She was the former member of the Ladies Aide at he
church. Pauling enjoyed embroidering, fishing and cooking.
She is survived by her three daughters; Shirley J. Barner, and June L
. Barner at home, and Carol M. Hoffman and her husband Lawrence N. o
f Richfield, a granddaughter Karen "Suzy" Stahr and her husband Wade D
. of McAlisterville, a great grandson Nicholas A. Stahr; a sister Id
a Seig of Etters, two brothers; Allen Goodling and his wife Katy of Mt
. Pleasant Mills, and Mervin Goodling and his wife Geraldine of Miffli
town, nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Blanche Goodling of Mt
. Pleasant Mills. Pauline was preceded by a daughter Geraldine Barne
at birth, and two brothers; Lee Goodling, while serving our countr
y during World War II, and Ernest Goodling.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing on Thursday, December 2
, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 P.M., at the George P. Garman Funeral Homaes, In
c., 606 N. Front St., Liverpool. The funeral service will be at 11:0
0 A.M., Friday, December 3, 2010, with a viewing from 10:00 A.M., unti
