Edward D. "Fu?" Barner, 64, of 360 S. Fourth St., Steelton, died Sunda
y in Harrisburg Hosptial.
He was a machinist/welder for Conrail; a graduate of the former John H
arris High School; a National Guard veteran; a member of Steelton Moos
e Lodge 382, with a Fellowship Degree, and Moose Legion 41; and a memb
er of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Highspire, and Citizens Fire Compan
y, Oberlin.
Surviving are his wife, Connie L. Dreher Barner; five sons, Anthony A
. Kelly of Dover, Brian S. and Christopher S. Kelly, both of Steelton
, Darryl K. Kelly of Greenfield Center, N.Y., and Michael S. Kelly a
t home; two daughters, Jodi Lynn Stirling of Kennett Square and Conni
e L. Barner of Steelton; a brother, Raymond of Harrisburg; 15 grandchi
ldren; and a great-grandson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in his church. Burial will b
e private.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Wiedeman Funeral Home, St
eelton, and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in the church.
Memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund of his church, 24
