. McClintic Jr., 68, of rural Spring Mills, died unexpectedly Sunday
, Feb. 10, 2013, at his home. He was born Dec. 20, 1944, in Bellefonte
, a son of the late Alma S. Horner and Stanley E. McClintic Sr. On Nov
. 4, 1964 he married Elaine E. Miller who preceded him in death Oct. 1
8, 2000. Stanley was a 1963 graduated of Penns Valley High School. H
e was employed at Cerro Metals from 1968 until the plant closing, whe
he retired after having worked in the excursion department most of t
hat time. Earlier in life he was employed at the former Erie Technolog
ies in State College. Mr. McClintic was a member of Trinity United Chu
ch of Christ at Tylersville, and a former member of the Centre Hall F
ire Company. He especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughte
, playing poker and lawn work. Surviving Mr. McClintic is one daughte
, Cindy L. Brown, of Millheim; a granddaughter Cassidy, of Millheim
; one sister, Sarah J. Wetzel, of Bellefonte; and two brothers Roy R
. McClintic and his wife, Gloria, of Erie; and Rickey D. McClintic, o
f Bellefonte. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. McClintic was p
eceded in death by a son, Shawn D. McClintic on Dec. 18, 2005. Friend
s will be received from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Mark D. He
intzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Cent
e Hall. A memorial service will follow immediately at 8 p.m. at the f
uneral home. Entombment will be private at the convenience of the fami
ly at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College. I
