e had been a guest for one year.
She was born in Oval, July 8, 1913, the daughter of Harry and Alice Ba
er Miller. She was married to Lawrence D. Phleger who died Feb. 26
, 1974.
She was a homemaker all her life and was a member of the Antes Fort Un
ited Methodist Church.
Her survivors include one daughter, Martha Anderson of Mifflintown, an
d one son, Larry Phleger of DuBois. There are four grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Harry Robert, and a daughter, Marie Will
its.
Emily’s life celebration will begin with a visitation from 7 to 9 p.m
. Tuesday at The Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, “A Life Celebration H
ome,” 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, followed by funeral services W
ednesday morning at 11 from the Antes Fort United Methodist Church wit
h her pastor, Rev. Thomas Jones, officiating. Burial will be in Oval C
emetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Antes Fort Unite
d Methodist Church, 39 Mail Road, Antes Fort, Pa. 17720.
