Donna was born in Lock Haven on January 28, 1944, the daughter of th
e late Milton and Madelene Culvey Wagner.
She was a 1961 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School.
On August 30, 2014 at the Salona Lutheran Church she married William C
. Bruno, whom survives.
Donna was employed at Woolrich Woolen Mills for 18 years. Following re
tirement, she worked as a substitute teacher for STEP Head Start.
She was a member of Salona Lutheran Church and the Lock Haven Legion P
ost 131 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a social member of the Lock Hav
en VFW and Beech Creek Legion.
Donna loved spending time with her friends and family, especially he
grandchildren whom she adored. She also enjoyed shopping trips.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Gerald (
Audrey) Barner, Jr. of Pleasant Gap, Richard (Linda) Barner of Blancha
d, Denise (Nelson) Haight of Lock Haven, Randal (Deanna Dole) Barne
of Lock Haven and Linette Knecht Clausen of Lock Haven; two sisters
, Kay Waltz and June Strouse; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandc
hildren; and her dog, Toby.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 1 p.m
. at the Salona Lutheran Church, 754 Long Run Road, Mill Hall, Pa 1775
1 with Rev. Karl Runser officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the church on Monday from 11 a.
m. until the time of the service.
Private burial will be held at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mi
ll Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salona L
utheran Church.
