    Ruth A. Yarrison, 93, formerly of 133 Beagle Road, Mill Hall, died Sep
    t. 13, 2017 at the Susque-View Home, Lock Haven.
    Born Dec. 1, 1923 in Rote, she was a daughter of the late John E. an
    d Helen M. Barner Weaver.
    On August 10, 1940 in Lock Haven, she married John R. “Roger” Yarriso
    who died June 28, 2008.
    Ruth attended the Salona schools and was a member of the Rote United M
    ethodist Church.
    She retired in 1993 after 23 years working at the Lock Haven Hospita
    l as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
    She is survived by two sons, Thomas (Kae) Yarrison of Jarrettsville, M
    d. and Gerald (Nancy) Yarrison of Parker, Colo.; three sisters, June W
    elshans of Loganton, Jean Slaterbeck of Rote and Joyce (Lynn) Robinso
    of Howard; two brothers, Donald Weaver of Rote and Allen (Joan) Weav
    er of Howard; six grandchildren, Brenda Yarrison, Brian (Becky) Yarris
    on, Jody Popio, Lorie Yarrison, John (Tracie) Yarrison and Matthew (Be
    cky) Yarrison.
    She was predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law, Blaine and Jeanie Ya
    ison; a sister, Ella K. Decker; and a brother, John C. Weaver.
    A memorial service honoring the life of Ruth A. Yarrison is being plan
    ed and will be announced at a future date.
    Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, are suggested to her churc
    h, Rote United Methodist, through the funeral home.
