    Peggy Clare Glossner, 80,
    of Monroe Township,
    passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2011 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Say
    e.
    Peggy was born in Lock Haven,PA, on Feb. 27, 1931,
    the daughter of Paul and Margaret Ludwig McGhee.
    She was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and in her early years wa
    s employed by Sylvania Electric in Mill Hall.
    On Oct. 11, 1952 she married Stanley T. "Speed" Glossner in Lock Haven
    .
    She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years on Oct. 16, 2008.
    Peggy served as a teacher's aide in New Jersey and at the Wysox Elemen
    tary School for several years.
    Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother wh
    o spent a lot of time watching her children grow up and participate i
    various events. In later years, she loved spending time with her thr
    ee granddaughters and watching them participate in their favorite acti
    vities.
    Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law R. Thomas and Jody Glossner o
    f Reading, R. Daniel and Teresa Glossner of Decatur, Ala., and Scott A
    . and Jill Glossner of Tabernacle, N.J.; granddaughters Hannah, Lesli
    e Ann and Kaitlyn; step-grandsons David Breisacher and Shawn and Jenni
    fer Breisacher; great-grandson Zachary Breisacher; sisters and brother
    s-in-law Dorothy and Dean Boone of Flemington, Hope and Schuyler Keist
    er of Hackettstown, N.J., Gayle Glenn of Jacksonville, N.C., and Opa
    l and John Wert of Lock Haven; sister-in-law Dorothy Shadduck of Loc
    k Haven; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lawrence and Sherry Glossn
    er of Mill Hall and Richard and Marty Glossner of Hawley; and severa
    l nieces, nephews and cousins.
    In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by s
    isters Harriett Yoder and Geraldine Powers, and a brother, Richard Tho
    mas McGhee.
    A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the famil
    y. There are no calling hours.
    Contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Bradfor
    d Unit, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, Pa. in Peggy C. Glossner's me
    mory.
