EMELINE D. REAMER
Emeline D. Reamer, 92, formerly of Dietrich Road, Mifflinburg entere
d into rest at 10:42 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Buffalo Valley Lut
heran Village, Lewisburg, where she had been a resident since Septembe
2011.
She was born Jan. 23, 1920, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Georg
e Y. and Susan M. (Heckert) Dietrich. In April 1946, she married Elwoo
d R. Reamer, who preceded her in death in May 1964.
Emeline was a 1938 graduate of Lewisburg High School.
She was employed as an aide at Laurelton Center for many years until s
he retired in 1982. Earlier in life, she assisted her husband on the f
amily farm in Dornsife, worked at the Danville State Hospital, and vol
unteered at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Emeline was a member of the Witmer’s United Methodist Church, Port Tre
vorton.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Susan K. and Merv S. Liegey
, of Milton; one grandson, Christopher Yetter, of Middleburg; and tw
o great-grandchildren, Owen and Sara.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Sr., James Sr., an
d Harry Dietrich; and one sister, Fannie Dietrich.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of th
e family.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpik
e Road, Mifflinburg.
