    Francis E. "Fritz" Reamer
    PENNS CREEK - Francis E. "Fritz" Reamer, 71, of Penns Creek, passed aw
    ay suddenly late Saturday evening, June 17, 2006, at his home.
    He was born Oct. 5, 1934, in Lewisburg, a son of the late John M. an
    d Katie M. (Wolfe) Reamer.

    Fritz attended Mifflinburg High School and served in the Navy.

    Earlier in life, he had been employed by the PA State Library in Harri
    sburg, but was employed most of his life as a professional dog groomer
    .

    Fritz returned to Central PA in August 2005. Prior to that he had live
    d in Texas, Florida and for many years on the West Coast.

    Surviving are four brothers and one sister-in-law, Lee Reamer of Aaron
    sburg, J. Nelson and Carol Reamer of Mifflinburg, Luther Reamer of Mil
    lersburg, and Arthur Reamer of Watsontown; three sisters and two broth
    ers-in-law, Anna Schreck of Lewisburg, Charlotte and Calvin Styers o
    f Mifflinburg, and Dorothy and George Richard of Middleburg; as well a
    s numerous nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by one brother, Elwood Reamer, in 1964.

    Graveside services will be conducted at the discretion of the family i
    the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lewis Twp, Unio
    County.

    Arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
