    Roy C. Duck, 83, of Lock Haven and a former longtime resident of Logan
    ton passed away, Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013 at Haven Rehab and Skilled nurs
    ing, Lock Haven.

    He was born May 10, 1930 in Loganton the son of Russel and Jennie (Bow
    er) Duck.

    His first wife Lottie (Nilson) Duck died in 1970 and his second wife S
    hirley (Cain) Duck died in 2004.

    Roy retired from Lucas Trucking as a truck driver.

    He was a member of the Southern Clinton County Sportsmen's Associatio
    and the Lions Club of Loganton. He was an avid hunter.

    He served in the Army during the Korean War in the 15th Infantry a
    s a medic where he received the Korean Service Medal and two Bronze St
    ars.

    Surviving are one son LeRoy A. (Beth) Duck, of Loganton and a daughte
    Jodi Cokeley of Lock Haven; four grandchildren, Amanda, Melanie, Cas
    ey and Allison; two brothers, Arnold Duck of Attica, N.Y. and Terry Du
    ck of Williamsport; also three sisters, Eleanor Lannen of Lock Haven
    , Catheryn Kenelley and Virginia Bonnell both of Avis.

    A brother Farrell H. Duck preceded him in 1945.

    A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday
    , Dec. 26, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rosecrans. Military honors w
    ill be conducted be the Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County.

    There will be no viewing or visitation.

    Helt Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall has charge of arrangements.
