    Charles M. McClintick, 79, of 16 McClintick Road, Mill Hall, went to b
    e with our Lord on Nov. 12, 2004 at his home.
    Born June 19, 1925 in Salona, he was the son of the late Arlington Rei
    sh and Lydia Brungard McClintick.
    He was married to Elsie M. Packer McClintick on May 2, 1947. She survi
    ves at home.
    He was an employee of the former Hammermill Paper Co, Lock Haven, wher
    e he had worked for 44 years. He had also farmed at their home in Salo
    a and also operated the Charles I. McClintick General Store in Salona
    .
    Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II i
    Co L, 180th Div. He was in the campaigns at Rome-Arno and Southern F
    ance. He was wounded on Sept. 14, 1944 and received the Purple Hear
    t and the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon wit
    h two service stars.
    Charles was a long-time member of the Salona United Church of Christ
    , where he had served on the consistory. He was a life member of the A
    merican Legion and a long-time member of the Lamar Grange No. 274, Sal
    ona.
    Charles treasured children, family and friends.
    Surviving are a daughter, Cindy (Dean) Myers of Salona; a granddaughte
    , Courtney (Ben) Force of Salona; a grandson, Christopher Myers of Sa
    lona and many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004 in the Salon
    a United Church of Christ. Rev. Dale Sattizahn and Rev. Marjorie Holla
    d, his pastors, will officiate. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. toda
    y in the Dean K. Wetzler Jr. Funeral Home, Mill Hall, and one hour pri
    or to services at the church. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery
    , #028, Mill Hall.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Salona United Church of Chri
    st, the Lamar Twp, Clinton Co, PA Vol. Fire Co. or the Sun Home Healt
    h Services (Hospice), in care of the funeral home.
    Arrangements are entrusted to the Dean K. Wetzler Jr. Funeral Home, 32
    0 Main St., Mill Hall.
