Glenn M. Troutman, 79, of Millerstown, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 a
t home.
He was born Jan. 31, 1932 in Pfoutz Valley to the late George R. Jr. a
d Charlotte (Ferguson) Troutman.
Glenn was a dairy and grain farmer along with his wife and children a
t Straightwater Farms, Millerstown; formerly attended Stony Run Missio
Church, McAlisterville; a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, Pe
sylvania Holstein Association and Greenwood Grange 1852, Millerstown
.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Jane Strawser Troutman; two daught
ers and their spouses; Nina Peters of Richfield and Carolyn Matter o
f Millerstown; a son, Scott of Millerstown; three grandchildren, Phili
cia Peters and Lisa and Rickie Matter; a brother, Richard of Millersto
wn; and two generations of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Irene Troutman.
A service was held in George P. Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with p
astor Franklin Trego officiating. Burial was in St. Peter’s U.C.C. Cem
etery, Millerstown.
